Catching Rainbows
I’ve been ‘catching rainbows’ for years now. There’s just something about that beautiful ray of light that seems to come from the heavens that I can never not photograph. I was deeply moved last year to catch a sunbow while visiting the Beara Peninsula - I’d never heard of them before and couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the colours in the sky on a hot and dry summer’s day. It was only a few short weeks after my darling Mum had passed away and felt like a special message from her from the other side. Before she died, Mum told me that I’d know when she was close by. I was missing her so much and really felt her with me that day as I gazed up at that beautiful circle of light - so very special.
